Meyle Rotors W/ GEOMET Coating __ Anyone tired them?

So after the advice of some folks here to stay away from D/S rotors I went out in search of some coated blanks because I hate looking at rusty rotors. Found what I was looking for in the group buy rotors thread.

Meyle (german made) rotor blanks coated with GEOMET protective coating. They are german made rotors and the coating looks to be rock solid.

I did not find anything about these rotors using search. All I could find was one post in which they where mentioned. Lots of good reviews for meyle rotors on BMW/Audi/Mercedes forums.

After searching the net I found a full test done on rotors coated with GEOMET.

Anyone tired them or heard of them? The prices on these are very nice.. about the same as uncoated brembo blanks.

$18 blanks from NAPPA, $12 bucks for a can of high temp paint, a good clean and prep, and two years later my rotor's hubs are still silver.

Marketing 101 is a wonderful thing for businesses.

Did you paint only the hub?

Never TRIED them but I would suggest what njmaxseltd did... if you feel like spending then get them since apparently the German car owners seem to be happy with the outcome.

I went ahead and ordered them. Got all four rotors and metal master pads for $239 shipped. Less than what I was going to spend on crappy ebay rotors/pads. After I have had them on a while I'll do a review on how the coating holds up
