I have fiberglass eyelids. Not installed but no way would I consider them if they were stickers like what you're trying to do...

I think it kind of ruins the look of your headlights, But I never really understood the purpose of eye lids though

I think your car looks good without the lids. I had a buddy do it to his car and it just didn't look right.

i usually don't care for eyelids, but i'd like to see those at a wider angle to give a final verdict.

If you do anything to your headlights, black out those reflectors. Don't do eyelids.

Seriously.

I have YET to understand this eyelid 'mod'. I've been on this forum and into cars since I was 16 (I'm 22). What...the hell...do they do? I think they look like utter crap.

Tigerdude IIRC the eyelid over the clearance light WILL cut the clearance lights output, I think that's the reason why all of the eyelids i've seen don't go over the clearance light. I don't know about you, but I've noticed how important they are in these unlit streets of Manhattan, but you're in a city so I guess that's not as big as an issue to you.

im not in the city. I am about 30 miles from the city. what do you mean by affecting the clearance light. do you mean the corners by the headlight?? if so they dont get brighter on the 99 model when you turn the blinker on

No they don't, but they still light up the road when I look to make a turn, whenever I make left turns now I can't see anything!!! But I am able to see the road when I make right turns.

Again, Manhattan only has a few main roads lit up, and when you're driving around houses you get nada, I almost hit a tree trunk making a left the other night.

I will take pics if you really use the clearance lights like I do.

LOL, Did I buy the driver side one from you? I don't remember. It's sitting in front of my TV so I can semi-motivate myself to put it on, I ran on the track w/o it, I called it a "Ram-Air Intake Mod".....
