During the week I dont drive me 96se 100K and when I go to leave school on Friday afternoon and pull right onto the highway from school it feels a little sluggish. I never bring it above 3k and alittle way down the road it seems to get more responsive. this is probably normal right ??

 

Yes, I think so. What is probably happening is that your ECU is retarding the timing a little, maybe because it is not getting enough Fuel or Air. The best way to find out is to test/replace your Air Filter and Fuel Filter. Less than $20 bucks and your car will have fresh clean air and fuel!
