Should i buy this??

ive been trying to find an m3 or m5 style spoiler for my car. I like the way they look with a lip kit, and a roof spoiler. I dont feel like paying 200 for a fiberglass sarona spoiler, but i found these on ebay. I know they are cheap, but if i dont like it i could chuck it. what do you think

If you do get one & don't want to have a shop professionally paint it to match your car perfectly, then all you will need to do is the following.

1) Wash it with soapy water to release the mold agent.

2) take some Ajax on a scotchbrite pad & scrub it gentley.

3) Rinse it with clean water (No soap)

4) dry it well

5) Spray some bulldog adhesion promotor. http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd-bull...n_promoter.cfm can be purchased at pepboys also.

6) spray it with some color match rattle can...

Try it. 30 dollars is cheap enough, if it's junk just trash it. if you do get it put up a pic, i'm interested in how it would look.

i got it on my 99 max looks very sweet clean and sleek i just wanted something different from everyone else with a regular spoiler, i got it painted when i got my car repainted and put the stillen kit on paint stuck really well no problems only thing that was hard was putting it on the car evenly from side to side. i say go for it if you want to see pics just let me know and ill upload them. picture on my sig is before i repainted it.

its your car so why care what other people think about it...
we most likely wont flame you unless you put a high rise carbon fiber spoiler with bright green flames a fart can and gtr symbols on the max...so in your mind if you think its clean... do it

Awesome thread title btw.

I guess it would have been too much trouble to say, "Fitment/quality questions about the M3 style trunk lip spoiler found on ebay""

You're right man. This forum exists for the sole purpose of us asking each other which cool ebay crap we should buy for our cars.

Question: has anyone ever had one of these molded onto the trunk instead of double sided sticky tape?

I've been considering these as well when I upgrade to the 97+ trunk and I'd like to get both painted at the same time.

Anyone? Pics?

That's really not bad at all. Certainly gives the spoiler-less max's a nice option. But I like my stock sun damaged one, gives my car character.

MISTA0406 do you have any somewhat close side shots, so we can see how it looks from the side, but not so far you can barely see it
