transmission?

transmission?

i need some help on whats wrong with my transmission. the car is a
1999 maxima 5speed with a spec stage 3 clutch with about a little over 3k on the clutch. the car will go in gear but nothing will happen. it happened yeasterday when i was coming to a stop and i was moving slow and i tried to put it into first and it made a noise. then the car wouldnt move. could it be the throw out bearing?

throwout bearing has nothing to do with this.

does the car stall when you put it in gear and let the clutch out? does it do this behavior (whatever behavior it is) in every gear? can you get "in to" every gear or are you blocked out of any?

i can put it in every gear and let go of the clutch and the car wont stall. it wont do nothing. when in gear and i hit the gas the speedo goes up to what ever mph but the car is still.

Check your axles, one is likely broken.

Failing that, it would be a diff problem.

thanks for your help it was the axle. it came out it was the driver side. once more thanks for your help.
