Huh?

Just about any brake pad you can buy for your Maxima comes with a lifetime warranty. FYI the warranty does not cover normal wear, only failure of the part.

There are two different sellers of brake components in the GD section, each with a bazillion positive reviews, have you not looked? pads are cheap.

With over 325,000 miles ,I've replaced my brake pads many times under
warranty with just normal wear and have never had any problem getting the warranty honored.

Wrong - the lifetime warranties I get with pads bought at AZ include normal wear and tear. I've done the pads (both fronts and rears) several times in 208K miles, and only bought the first set. Sometimes they want you to pay the price difference in pads (or give you a refund if you put cheaper ones on) and sometimes they give you more expensive pads at NO extra cost. Depends who is behind the counter on the day you make your exchange.

I also believe the `limited' part of the limited lifetime warranty means it is only good for the original pad purchaser.

Interesting, I stand corrected.

So tell me why you need your brothers Altima pads when you already have pads that are covered under warranty?

Still makes no sense......
