Still No air/ No heat

Ok, so I thought it might have been the blower motor, so I got a brand new one and still no luck. There is no air, no heat, nothing is running. Seems like there is no power to the motor at all. (Plugged the motor to another battery source and it worked)

What could be the problem?

FYI- I have a 1999 I30 if that makes any difference.

Seriously, download the FSM and go through the troubleshooting steps. That will save you a lot of money vs. replacing misc parts until you get lucky.

Auto or Manual climate control?

If it's Auto, then it's the fan amplifier
If it's Manual, then it's the blower resistor

Same thing for me (auto climate control).... Fan amp went, caused by very worn motor brushes.. Replaced both amp and blower... Also the amp can be repaired if you have some soldering skills (the part is very expensive, over $100)... I ended up getting soaked at the dealer for a new one (happened day before we were going on vacation, so had to be fixed), then I repaired my old one using this:

Check the DCMAX section and you'll see why our post counts are so high.

Thank you for the input. Its an Auto Control. So its the Fan amplifer. Will get that change ASAP. Hope that fixes that problem.

BTW who cares about post counts? If I am unsure about something, I ask. (Learned this very early in life, and its brought me a long way) I thought FSM meant Full Service Manual, but who knows with all the three letter lingo on the .org.

Thanks again, Much appreciated

AJCOOL... They just don't know...LOL

Yikes just called Infiniti Parts and they said $328.00- Definitely need to find a cheaper solution.
