15th Anniversary

I'm using Meguiars wheel cleaner right now, but I've used lots of different cleaners over the years. I think they all work about the same. I clean them every 2-3 weeks, and just wipe them dry after washing and rinsing. I never polish them - just wipe them clean. Garaging helps, especially with New England winters. Still, those are the original saw blades with only a teensy bit of rash (almost unnoticeable).
Yours looks good too. Always good to see another clean Gen 4.

Thanks. Weather around Philly isn't to great either. I don't have a garage unfortunately. But I try to keep her clean! I like how yours looks like it's fresh out of the factory. All stock! Maybe the exhaust looks different.

While I was posting pics, I ran across this one too. It's hard to keep a daily driver looking nice in this kind of weather - but notice the AWD Mo is ready to go while the Max is behind the closed door.
And this is a pic taken 15 years ago (but with a film camera) of the same car in the same driveway:

Good Lord your Maxima is MINT ! I wouldn't even replace it with a new one.
Most of us don't have one owner cars from the start, yours is a dying breed, hold on to it.

Oh yeah, it has gray leather cause I didn't want all black inside. The leather is a little worn (as would be expected) but there are no tears, holes or stains. In fact, the door inserts and back seat still look like new. And you asked about maintenance to date, so here goes. Besides regular oil/antifreeze/filter changes and a few bulbs, it's had:
wear items:
3 sets tires (at 62K, 131K and 186K miles)
3 sets front brake pads (92, 142, 206K)
Front rotors (158K)
3 sets rear pads (132, 158, 197K)
2 sets rear calipers (done individually between 139 & 197K)
3 batteries (82, 138, 189K)
Plugs (112, 172K)
Exhaust (stock cat back 152K)
Exhaust (SP2 & y pipe 197K)
Gear oil (changed 4 times)
Water pump (143K)
Windshield (from pitting 162K)
Accessory belts (120K)
Accessory belts & idler pulley (201K)
Misc. repairs:
Starter (43K - warranty)
Starter/Ign. switch (185K)
Door alarm switches (warranty)
Breather/purge control valves (52K - warranty)
Rear O2 sensor (97K - warranty)
Blower resister (112K)
Hood stays (1 at 115K and the other at 155)
Clutch/pressure plate (192K)
KS (192K)
Rad. support (194K)
Struts/sway bar end links (196K)
Alignment (after struts-only one ever done)
EGR tube (clean) & solenoid valve (196K)
Coolant temp sensor (123K)
Clutch slave cyl. & hose (139K)
Outer CV boots (152K)
License plate bracket & bulbs (159K)
oil pressure switch (leaking-173K)
IACV (187K)
Bose head unit (206K)
Total maintenance over 15 years (counting filters, but not counting oil changes) has been $8600, or $575/yr. Taking out wear items, maintenance drops to $5200, or $350/yr.

Amazing simply amazing that you still have all the records for it and receipts!!
Holy crap Bose is a 800 dollar option !!
ABS is another 1000 bucks but worth it.
California Emission System 150 bucks ? Whats all that ??
You have the grey leather interior ? Pics please ! I have only seen black and Tan.

Good to see people on the .org getting to see how beautiful of a car you have, every time I see it I am always amazed at how immaculate it is, if given the choice I would take yours over some of the modded ones I see regularly in a heartbeat. Allthough I do think some clear bumperlights and 97+ headlights would make it a little better.
The real question is..... how are the rear doors to open and close? My mom is now sporting a '96 SE with 208k for a winter beater and they are amazing, my '96 and my '97 on the other hand has gotten horrible.

It's a GReddy SP2 cat back that I bought used one year ago, and Kevin Goodwin (KRRZ350) installed for me. It's off a 97, however, hence the 1" extension beyond the bottom of the bumper cover. Can be a problem when people get too close to it right after the car is shut off.
Thanks for the nice words, Kevin - makes the care I put into the car worthwhile. And thanks for helping with the exhaust/struts/clutch/EGR tube/KS/rad. support/etc last year. The trick to the rear doors is spraying the you-know-what out of the hinges with WD40 2-3 times a year. That, and the garaging thing does wonders as well.
Let me know if you see some cool lights reasonably priced near us. The pics don't show it but I'm also getting some rust near one spoiler mount, and the 2nd hood repaint job isn't holding up too well. So I'd also be interested in a replacement hood and trunk, maybe CF.
