I want to reprogram my ECU and I am completely aware of JWT. I am also aware of other piggy back options that I am not considering at this time. I am interested in reprogramming my own ECU. So far I have researched data logging and data monitoring software. I am also aware that I have to purchase a daughter board and solder it on to the main board. I have two questions, where can I purchase a daughter board that would be applicable with the 95/96 ECU and which jumper on the board do I have to switch in order for the main board to read from the daughter-board's ROM.

 

There is a thread for this here. I thought about doing an open source ECU for my senior project, but between work and school, it could be a while before I get enough time to work on it.
