Steering rack boot

Steering rack boot

While changing my front brakes, I noticed that the steering rack boot on the passenger side was torn. My question is should I just replace the boot, or does it require more? Would leaving it be a issue?

The boot's torn, replace it.
Pop the tie rod off the hub, unscrew the tie rod end.
Keep count of the # of turns it takes to gt it off. Put it back on in the exact same location so your alignment stays.

Pretty simple job and the boot is like 8 bucks.

Thanks, should I replace the tie rods ends at this time also?

Do they have any play, or is the boot on the outer torn? Are they seized up to one another? If not, then don't bother.
