Precuttint.com???

Anyone ever buy from these guys? I wanted to put silver mirror tint on my beige max when i put my rims on but was also thinking of regular black. Are these guys' tint quality or has anyone ever dealt with them? Opinions are greatly aprreciated.

Re: Precuttint.com???

I got my tint from these guys. Actually, I redid them since I messed up the first time... and I didn't even try to redo the back window. The rear is exceptionally hard. For the sides, definitely remove the interior panels. The video makes it look easy but it isn't. I would seriously consider a professional job unless it is really expensive in your area. Also, I wouldn't do it all in one day--that is too trying for your patience. My side windows look good after the second try.

I bought mine installed for less than that... depending on where you live and local tint prices this may not be such a great deal.

cutting the tint is actually the easiest part of the whole job. I do my own windows, the hardest part by far is getting the tint on without any air bubbles. You are probably beter off getting it done professonaly and having them warranty it, if possible for life, so whne the tint fades you can replace it.

only agree w/ you 1/2 on that one, I've tinted my previous car and it was amaizingly hard to cut a perfect piece, no matter what you do it seems that it's either too much or too little, so if you buy from them, 1/2 of your job is done

I do agree w/ you on the bubles part, no matter how hard I tried, I still had bubles, even though they were small and only I can see them, but they were still there, so getting them done professionally is probably a way to go

it would be worth asking how much a place would charge for just install if you provide them your ting, although I think the difference in cost wouldn't make sense to order the tint from this place

Just as a heads up...

My local place will do it for $150 all said and done, your choice of transparency, with a lifetime guarentee. This is their normal rate and they are a pretty average store so this is what you should expect to pay if you choose to get it done professionally.

That sounds good. Where is your place located? I'm in Queens, NYC. I wasn't gonna install it myself to begin with cause i'm not too good with tint. Anyone know the quality of the tint they use?
