Wierd Clunky front rht side noise going 20+ mph????

Driving: 95 Nissan Maxima se 5 speed 194, xxx miles.

I am having a complete headache with this wierd clunky noise that begins when the car is going 20+ mph. It sounds like it is coming from the front passenger side...

The noise sounds like it "cycles" as I accelerate and the noise is not there when I am at a stop (in gear and in nuetral, I have a 5 spd). I just replaced all four tires today since I did have very bald tires in the front, but to no avail.

It is getting very irritating just driving to the store. Any advice or help would be great as I love this car but it is driving me crazy...

It is probably the wheel bearing making that noise. Bad axle joints usually make noise in very low speed tight turns as in a parking lot. Wheel bearing noise can vary depending on how bad it is, but when it is up & down with the speed, it's a good hunch that the wheel bearing is the culprit.

Thanks for the replies guys, yes i can hear the noise when just making a left in a parking lot but not a right...

I was under the assumption my rotors were disaligned or bad but I will definitely check out the axle joint/ wheel bearing on the right side.

Any clue of how much it will cost for the part/ labor? I would love to do it myself but unfortunately life takes over pretty much all my time as I am posting from work right now. lol

the damn wheel bearing ended up costing me $340 part/labor but enh, i got a free alignment and oil change and he even ran the obdII and cleared my check engine light and replaced i think a tps for free. so it was all worth it!
