Diving the max today and all of a sudden all the cluster lights came on nd the car just died. I checked the fuses and the engine control fuse (10a) was blown tried another fuse. The car started then it just died back again blew that fuse again.. Never changed my alterntor just wondering if that could be part of the problem???

 

sounds more like a short or something is drawing more amps in the circuit have you added anything new to the car recently? done any maintenance ?

 

not one thing i drove it a little today and it was fine.

 

Oh I also jacked it up to day because I been hearing wheel bearings but don't understand if that would cause anything.... It is really bothering me that I can't find anything wrong. I had a couple of codes come up when I checked the ecu. One code was for the map sensor. Also when I changed the fuse the idle was really rough when it just died. Anyone else know what to look for or if anyone had that problem?
