I'm near that point when I have to replace my front brake pads. The rear can go another few months before I think about doing them. My question is what kinda of rotors should I get? Should I just go to PEP Boys, Advance Auto or any special place? I know I don't want to go to the Nissan dealer for fear they'll charge me way to much for something I can do myself. Also what are rotors and pad running for a 97 Max SE ? I tried to search for it but didn't come up with anything I was really looking for.

there is a kit on eatrice.com or something for i think 500 bucks came with cross drilled rotors (brembo but drilled at stillen) with axxis pads and new brake lines and fluid. might as well consider upgrading to a better kit wihle you're at it...

It wasnt very fun...but I'm loving it now...well only the looks b/c I still gotta drive like a gradma for another 150 miles to break them in
