what is the fastest you have ever gone in your max's???
i did 135mph in my stock max, i think more road would have given a better result.

 

I did 130 the other night. Had a lot more pull to it too.

 

I've seen several maxes doing 130+

at 130 it feels unsafe to go faster without better suspension. but I know my 97SE is good for 145 or a little better

It has a whopping 10, 317 miles on now! Need to try it again. Next time I go to Dallas. Unlike most of you, I cannot muster up the courage to go that fast on regular streets and highways.

140 mph stock, took a good stretch of road though.

had it up to around 120 before I had to slow
down because of upcoming traffic. Car felt
very stable...Have to try again some time.

 

About 135. Stock wheels and all plus a $h!tload of stuff in the back and my wife. Long deserted highway on the way to Colorado.

 

I love the way this car takes off at around 100.
I dislike red and blue flashing lights.
My stock auto 95 max does 140. Don't tell the wife.
My 97 se 5 speed only does 135. Perhaps more downhill with a little wind. The 97 with mods feels a little more stable than the 95 stock 16" wheel.
And I really prefer the general handling of the car at "around town" speeds.
