hey all, i'm looking into getting a catback real soon, right after i finish my 5 spd swap, and i've been looking at the catback from custommaxima.com, just wonderin if anyone has this, because i cant seem to find any reviews about it. i think they say its modeled after a greddy sp2 catback, but its alot cheaper, which would help with me being a poor college student. so if anyone does have this or has heard anything about it let me know, i couldnt seem to find any reviews about it. thanks.

 

Im pretty much in the same boat as you. I was pretty close to buying it but after looking at the pictures of it, I saw that it has that same notch in it after the resonator that the stock catback has. I know its for clearance, but thats the dealbreaker for me.

I recently installed the custommaxima.com catback. Took a while to put it on because i was having body work done also, but its finally on and it sounds alrite. I could feel a good difference. I really like the muffler.

 

How big is the tip? I'm looking for some thing in the 3.5" -4" area.
