well it may be the harness for the radio, try getting another aftermarket radio harness for the pioneer and see if it works, also the radio and harness are old so it may be radio and/or radio components and also check for the fuses in the fuse box next the the steering wheel, it may be a simple fuse

How are both harnesses connected? I remember having my Pioneer DVD player wired up with electrical tape, and it sucked. Speakers kept cutting out constantly. I upgraded to Wire connectors I got a NAPA for 3.00. Works great now.

How old is the radio? Could be at the end of its life? I had a pioneer deh-p4300 (i think thats the right model number) that lasted about 4 years and stopped working.

You guys make me frowny face First off, check your fuses my friend.. BOSE? no Bose? help us out a tid bit please.. The harness is probably fine.. so long as everything is connected properly. Its highly unlikely the radio harness would die after this long.. Its probably the amplifier... sorry bud your prolly gonna wanna try a new Headunit.. if you have a stock bose or a friend with one try it out first.
