Strange problem, not catching grip / traction?

Hey fellow Orgers, belated happy thanks giving. I have a strange problem. I did search, I searched "traction" went close to 10pgs and gave up.

I have a 5spd here is the issue: when ever I am in gear doesn't matter which one 1st to 5th if I give it lets say more than a 3rd of throttle I rev higher as I should but the car doesn't move! Its really frustrating I can not enjoy that famous max power!

I've only experienced this once before and that would be with aggresive shifting. Like say being 6k in 2nd shifting quickly to 3rd and holding at 4k until it "Caught up". That would be the only way I would have achieved that.

At first I chalked it up to my tires cause they were BAAAD no threading what so ever. A few days ago I got my knock sensor replaced(with OEM but it was a different part # than my broken knock sensor, guy said it was correct one) and also got my cross member support welded cause it was rusted through. Then it became even more pronounced I had to baby the throttle if not I'd just be revving high with barely any gain in speed. So yesterday I replaced all 4 tires and got them balanced. STILL SAME ISSUE it is less pronounced but still pretty bad. I miss my max's power! What do you guys think it could possibly be? Thank you Even if you can point me to a thread or better search terms that would be greatly appreciated!

ur clutch is slipping its almost time for a new one, u can try burning it up a little to get rid of the glazing on it to get it to grab hard but thats a temporary fix

just buy a clutch kit thats all u need, it will come with a pressure plate, clutch disc, and throw out bearing. and u might want to invest in a quality clutch, exedy OEM or stage 1 would be recommended

300 sounds about right for any decent shop.
