Auto vs. manual transmission size

Auto vs. manual transmission size
I heard that the manual trans is smaller than the auto.
Does anyone know the difference in size between the two?
I was originally planning on doing a vq35 4th gen, but now I am thinking of doing a B13 sentra with a VQ35. I want to use an auto, but don't know if it will physically fit in the engine bay.
There was a guy that did a VQ35 with a B15 spec v 6 speed in one. How does the 4th gen auto compare in size to the 6 speed?
Thanks for your help guys!

This is actually going to be me and my brothers winter project next year once we are finished with our maxes.
I dont see why it wouldnt fit. Im sure if a 6 speed can fit in a B14 than our autos can fit in a B13. Especially if the B13 and B14 use the same tranny. Might want to check that out.

Nobody has completed a B13 to my knowledge. One guy is almost done with his though.
How does the auto compare in size to the 6 speed? Because I know that the 6 speed fits in the B13.

The reason why I want to go with an auto is because of a couple reasons:
1. Fairly strong compared to the 5 spd.
2. Don't have to deal with routing shifter cables and mounting the shifter box.
3. Easier to launch and more consistent.
4. Easier on drive train parts (axles).
