'96 Maxima - Sunroof Open All the Way
*EDIT* Title was meant to be "Sunroof WON'T Open All the Way" - sorry.
Hi all,
Thanks for reading.
My ***** of an ex-girlfriend liked to sit on the roof of my Maxima sometimes back in the day. I didn't think much of it then, and let her do it a couple times.
Since then, my sunroof has not been able to move all the way back and stops about halfway. While pressing and holding the open button for the sunroof, it still tries to go back, but the sunroof just stops halfway (even though it's still making the noise it does to try to go further open).
Do I have any hope with this at all or I am I completely up the river?
Thanks if so.

Now thats funny. The sunroof is easy to access. Just pull the headliner down, it's fairly straight forward. A few screws in the visors, pull some trim off and it's only held up there with clips. Once the headliner is down you'll be able to see exactly what's going on. I think something like 6 bolts holds the sunroof assy to the frame if you must remove it.
