I bought two of these cir clips for the front axles, and they seem to be of thicker metal than the one that came of the axles. I put it on, and it will not sit in the groove. I also compared the new one with the old, and the old is just a little bit skinnier...
The old one is .075", while the new one that I just picked up is .090"
I checked the part number and it looks like it is for the 99 Maxima, amongst a lot of other Nissan cars?
Can anyone please help me?

can you bring the old ones to the dealer and show them the difference in size? or maybe go to napa, or if you know of a place that remanufactures axles go there...where are you located?

 

been there...i ended up not using one for about a 100 miles then just went out and bought a remanufactured axle. lol stupid nissan
