CLUSTER HELP!!!

Okay so i had got some new light bulbs for my cluster on a 96 maxima gxe and when i was putting it on ...all the lights cut off the light bulbs still work and i check my fuses everything seems fine so can anyone help me in need of it thank u!! my standby light work it just the cluster that wont light u???

make sure your dimmer isn't turned all the way down.

sound like u shorted it out while u was messing with it, gotta test it to see if u have power going to it u gotta test things man or else u will never know could be a sample problem and u not taking ur time checking it check it man u need a DVOM (Digital Volt Meter)

I don't think there's a specific fuse for the cluster. Are there any other lights that don't turn on? If there are, I suggest checking those fuses first.

every other light somes on exept the ones on cluster and now my cluster doesnt work every thing stays at 0 when i turn car on...i think its either the cluster or wire harness ..i hope it aint the wire harness FML.

Fuse # 40 (7.5 amp) is for the gauges on the cluster. It's in the upper right hand corner of the underdash fuse box. If your vanity mirror lights work the fuse is OK. if they do not work the fuse is blown. Other possibility is underdash fuse #13 (10A) if your illumiation for your stereo, window or defoger switches is out, that is blown. Power to the cluster comes from the yellow with blue stripe wire (always) and also the green wire when the ignition switch is turned on. Make sure you are getting battery voltage to those wires.
