cat question.....

hey, im swappin my original cat back in and the hole for the sensor, (95) has rust in the threads. what can i or should i spray on the threads??? steel wool a little??? just dont want to break sensor or get it stuck.

I used a battery terminal cleaner to clean out 02 thread before. Just dont remember if i used brake clean or not.
