thanks for the pic...kind of shows me, although, all the black on his car and the black bolts on the wheels throw it off a bit..
now these on just an all white i think would be so sick, but dude is crazy asking 1200 for some factories...

still those wheels arent worth that kind of money.
you can pick up those wheels WITH tires for ~600(Ive seen them on CL for $400)
then you can have them powder coated for about 150 a wheel.
so dude is pretty much making at least a set of tires out of this deal

guy on ebay asking: $1099 + $100 shipping = $1200

buy a set on clist for lets say $400(without tires) + $600 powdercoating = $1100

so his price isnt that far out the door

If this works, here's a pic of my car w/ white rims. 17's on 215/50s. I wanted to be different. Not really into the chrome look.

I would shoot more pics but I've got snow tires on steel rims for the winter. I do have a suggestion. Tire-rack.com will let you pick the car and the color of the rims. Can't go wrong there.

Also white rims get dirty really quickly. I'm buying dust shields this spring.

the white on white looks good if you have the right wheels, if you have cheap wheels its not going to look good.

if your planning on painting your stock 2K SE wheels white, its probably going to look better than most cheap after market wheels...

It really depends on what rims you get (not feelin the 2k SE all white), not what year it is. If i recall correctly the 4th gen Maxima IS a mid to late 90's car, don't get all of this "this isn't 1999" bullcrap.

Im going to have to agree, it depends on the wheels and the theme of the car. Just because it isnt being done by everyone doesnt mean it looks bad.
IMHO, black wheels are soooooooo played out. If the theme is a B/W then ok but every car I see nowdays has black wheels. Yet, everyone thinks that look is okay.
Even when I fist did my two tone theme everyone bagged on it saying it looked sh#tty and as if my car was unpainted even though it was all CF. I didnt care cause I liked the black and white contrast and I really like the appearance of CF.
Now, everyone is rocking two tone themes and even skipping using CF parts but just rattle canning their parts black. And since everyone is now doing it, it is widely accepted and everyone feels it looks good because everyone is doing it.
Lots of vehicles rock color matched wheels, and pull it off nicely.

Once again, it depends on the theme of the car and type of wheels. Cheap wheels will still look cheap even when painted.

Might look ok if the white was a closer match to the body, the lip doesnt match very well also.
Three diferent shades of white = fail
