P1105 code after installing V-AVCII and custom made O2 sim
P1105 code after installing V-AVCII and custom made O2 sim
All the wiring seems to be connected properly. The V-AFC reads all the connected sensors correctly and it was initialized correctly.
I first disconnected the hijacked wire to the MAF and directly connected it.
I'm aware that this is a MAP/BARO code so I got out the FSM and did some tests. There is continuity between the ecu and the solenoid's harness pin 1 and there is power going to pin 2. I removed the Solenoid and tested it with power and it switches over perfectly.
I have no clue what else to do. The code comes back almost instantly after reseting it.
Problem solved. look at 14.

GOOD LUCK!
I had this code for MONTHS when I did my 00VI (not sure what you got the V-AFC for). You know how I got rid of it? By getting rid of the 00VI. You have a leak somewhere, causing you to run lean. I tried everything to find it and never did.
OR...
When you installed whatever you installed, you left a vacuum line unplugged.

Odd thing is that I didn't mess with anything under the hood. I just disconnected the negative pole and installed the things. I may have to completely remove the V-AFC II to see if they are incompatible with our cars.
Tomorrow, I will first reverse the o2 sim then the vafc.
For a s/c btw.
So you installed an S/C. That IS messing with stuff under the hood.
You probably have a vacuum line unplugged. Check the diagram under the hood and make sure your lines are running correctly.

S/C still boxed up. Just installing things before. The vacuum hoses haven't been touched yet so that is a good thing. Most likely something with the connections by the ecu.
BTW, thanks for the replying.
v-afc is for tuning? Why are u tunin if u havent removed anything. Im not sure you would be able to eliminate CEL as long as u have on as OOVI or S/C. I hear u can correct CEL issues with a 3.5 swap, but its difficult cuz of EGR.
meximax has or had a S/C. Ask him bro.

I didn't have any codes until I installed the v-afc 2 so I'm guessing that it is some connection. The thing is that the MAP/BARO solenoid is getting power and has continuity to the ECM so I am at a bind.
I'm not tuning yet, just getting everything ready for when do install a supercharger. I am planning on getting ready for when I do install my s/c but as of now, It is completely stock.

i didnt even see that V-afc is for our cars. only for Hondas.
If u gettin a code for the MAP/BARO, u have a vacuum leak somewhere in that area. Check air lines. If u want, u can disconnect the vavle, move key from "on" to "off" to see if the solenoid is workin correctly
The valve is working, I'll have to check for an air leak. If it was the absolute sensor would I get another code? Thanks .
Ok, removed everything that was installed, cleared codes and it's still there. I can actually hear and feel the solenoid working the only thing would be a vacuum leak or a faulty Absolute Pressure Sensor but that is supposed to send another code.
The FSM is kinda worthelss as after going through all the proceedures it sends be back to a worthless chapter. I'll buy one and see.
I'm starting to be afraid that this problem is with the ecu or harness in both cases would make me think twice about keeping the vehicle.

OK, thanks for the help guys. Problem solved and it was my fault. Before you say "why the **** didn't you return it back to stock like we suggested?" I did but mixed up pins 61 and 62 as they are both white.
While connecting my O2 sim I cut and hijacked the wires which lead to pins 61 and 62. Which is the reason for the confusing codes. 61 is Absolute Pressure Sensor and 62 is EVAP control system pressure sensor. I did get the evap code twice but I thought it was because I unplugged it to test.
The reason why I didn't get a P0105 for a bad MAP sensor or Absolute Pressure Sensor as nissan calls it is because the 02 simulator was sending a signal and confused it. The reason why I rarely got the P0450 Evap Pressure sender is the O2 simulator again. *sigh*
It seems that my O2 sims is trashed too. Oh well, I'll build 2 more
I'll MAKE SURE to connect it to pins 56 and 57 this time.
