Would one faulty fuel injector cause crazy idle sporadically?
Is it possible for a bad injector to run fine at times and sporadically mess up at idling? My '99 I30 gave a code for the #5 coil pack, so we replaced it with a used one 2 months ago... It helped the problem, but didnt take it away completely.. So I replaced the rest of the coil packs with used ones and no help there.
I've done the disconnecting coil pack test and it didnt show anything... Ive been reading alot of threads about the #5 coil and also injector going bad but just wanted to make sure my symptoms matched a faulty injector before replacing it..
I'll post a video of how crazy it is..
It drives super on the highway.. Then when you pull up to a red light, it'll idle fine for about 5 seconds and then start surging from 300 rpm to 1000 as if its about to stall... then after about 23 seconds it corrects itself but 5 seconds later it does it again.....
Video will come in a couple of hours.

No check engine light for the above problem btw.... But 2 days ago after replacing the rear valve cover gasket, I have a P1320 code ( immediately after starting car after putting everything back together,,, checked all wires and hoses)
