Fog Light Question
To be honest, I liked my factory fog lights, but when I installed my front mount intercooler there was no longer any room for the lights.
I want to get another set of fog lights but I need your guys opinions. Should I get some slim ones for in the grille or small ones for the underneath by where the old ones were(but closer to the center)?
As far are wiring them up. I had my old ones come on independent from the headlights, which i loved for driving around during dust. My main question is, can I use that factory wiring to wire in new ones ?
Any pictures would be be great
thanks

just hook the new fogs up using the same wiring. i'm sure they're rated at 55watts a piece like the oem.
to be honest with you as for the style of the lights...i dont know.
i just dont see a 4th gen with a different set of foglights.
only oem makes it look so good.
now 3rd gen thats a different story.

Stock bulbs are 55 watt. As long as you stay close to that power the stock wires are fine.
I think fogs are best as low and wide as possible. Driving lights would be OK behind the grill, though I dont like that look.
I say keep them in the stock location.
With that said I have never seen a set of aftermarket lights that dont look ricey or out of place on a 4th gen.

I now have just one working light and the other is done and done.
I thought about getting aftermarket circle ones similar to the 5th Gens (Same shape at least) and somehow mounting them in the stock locations
and using the stock wires. But after a few days of thinking about it I decided against it because all of them look stupid and or ghetto on the 4th Gens. For me im just gonna wait to find a replacement fog, since you have no room for them maybe you should just leave them off...
I wish i cd post pics...ARGH!!!
I jus put some Aftermarkets on my ride, 1997 5spd MT. They are Blue LEDs and look mean with da pearlie white maxi. THey are located on the bottom of the fender but on the inside of the openings. I didnt want them sittin on the perimeter of the fender like the OEMs sit. And i dont like the look of the OEMs either.
I wired them up from the battery and put a lighted rocker switch in the cabin near the fuse panel. I didnt want to piggyback any of the lights and wanted the lights to run totally independently.
Bear in mind, they arent halogen fogs, they are LEDs. Fogs really arent that good for lighting anyways so u might as well get a pair that emits a cool light to bring out the car. JMO

There's an obvious difference from when I have my fogs on or off... Get better bulbs. When I had the cheapo ebay bulbs I couldn't tell they were on, then I brought some real bulbs (Osrams) I can clearly tell that my fogs are on or off.
I need '95 Maxima RH Passenger Side Fog Light
My factory passenger fog light was broken by rock on highway and I need to replace. Can anyone tell me what supplier carries these? It looks like you can't get these directly from Nissan anymore. Also, if anyone has a good used one they would like to sell please let me know that as well.
Thanks,
Thanks,
