radio has a mind of its own sometimes

my radio has been turning off along with the clock and cigarette lighter every once in awhile all at one time. i took everything apart and check the main harnesses that run the power to them and checked the fuses. if i turn the car off and turn it back on everything turns back on and returns to normal. when i say it turns off i mean it doesnt turn back on unless i turn the car off and turn it back on. has anybody experienced this or have any suggestions

If u can find the main harness where power is coming from then i wd say jump the harness with wire. Maybe u have a grounding issue as well.

Have you checked your voltage?

I had a similar problem, where my radio was not functioning properly. Turned out my battery was failing, and the drop in voltage was wreaking havoc with the radio. Suggest you test your battery voltage, and verify your grounds as well as the previous post suggests.
