Hmm... dont the fuel injectors have the same plugs between the generations ?
If it does then your wiring nightmare is 50% over.

if ive been reading correctly, the plugs are different but the wires are the same. so its just a simple ground/power thing... but im worried about the iacv, mass, n things like that...

alright sorry for posting in your thread but i found a 95 maxima with 104000 miles, and the guy said he changed oil every 3k, and is well maintained no leaks he wants 2800 for it but i asked if he would consider 2300 and he said that he will, therefore is that a good price for a 95 or is it to much? and he also said it has some scratches and a dent and idk if it has any rust or not, but im considering to go and check it out. So let me please know if the price is good or once i should check it out should i go lower.

next time, just send me a message... its much easier that way. and yeah i know you want your post count up so you can make your own threads! but you gotta find constructive threads to post in. as far as the car... sounds like a decent price... i personaly bought my second max, a 96 super black 5spd black leather, for only 3400... paint was crap, bumpers were cracked, hood was egged, windshield was cracked and they took the stock bose out... but it was worth it to me since it was what i was looking for. if you go check out the car, make sure theres no rust... and if there is, make sure its on a body pannel that can be easily replaced like front fenders or hood or something like that... you can get the others fixed but its pricey... the oil changes arent my biggest concern most the time, well for me anyways. i just keep a close eye on the fluid its self.. id be worried about tranny fluid, shocks, axles n the other things that go bad alot. find out the maintinance history and go from there... also, its ok to be picky when buying a car. so go through it with a fine tooth comb if you must. if its not what you thought it was, dont buy it. anyways, these are all just my opinions. ive bought alot of cars, and thats what i normaly do... any more questions, shoot me an message...

Well, I havent updated in a while so I figured id give you a slight update... Im currently awaiting pictures from the 'rents. My momma said shes already taken the pics, she just has to send them to me so ill post them asap!

G35 Rays Forged wheels 19x8.5 +33 all the way around

Continental DWS tires 235/35ZR19

kzoosho R34 quad projector retro with a little something extra

kzoosho red/clear led tails with a little something extra

ajcool2 00VI setup ported slightly with QX4 TB

Greddy Emanage Ultimate awaiting a custom harness to be made

Greddy Spectrum Elite catback exhaust

Cattman headers

Innovate Performance LC-1 with Bosch wideband o2

Redline Goods shift boots and padded armrest. black leather and dark blue stitching

Redline Goods cutsom door inserts

JIC FLT-FAS coilovers

TWM sts with the A6 Leapord flat black shift **** (just ordered, god they are expensive)

Mishimoto all aluminum 2 row radiator and blue hose kit (still looking into a fan setup?!)

Shinjiduo Stinger wire grounding kit with 4 gauge wire in blue

and there are also a couple custom mods that ill do like the led interior and stuff... anywho, expect some pics up in a day or two... ill keep bugging my mom till i get the pictures!

yeah i know what ya mean! ive only gotten to buy parts but that leaves all the fun installing for when i get home! ill be busy for AT LEAST two weeks! gonna be fun...

i hope that nissan/infinity didnt go and change all the wiring for all their seats! if its all daisy chained motors then it should just be the mounting to deal with on those seats! i was surprised to find out that its nearly impossible to find pictures of the bottoms of the seats lol

too my knowledge, nobody has done the g37 seats yet... the 350z and certain racing seats have been done will minimal issues and heartache, but this will be totally new if i pull it off... but you can put some racing seats in fairly easy... TMK!

Max, thanks for your service to the Nation!!!

OMG, you almost have enough parts to open a one man speed shop

Have you thought about doing a half shaft mod to your TB? Or is that even a mod that the Max's like?

I could be wrong, but arent those radiator hoses? If so, whats the brand/link?

Your very welcome! I really enjoy what I do out here! So it comes easy, all accept for the hotter than Hell temps out here!

N yeah, I do have a lot of parts huh! Should keep me busy for a while! There are also a few more special things waiting to be unveiled! Not to sure about the half shaft mod to the tb... Explain it to me so I can understand what your talking about! lol

Also, your correct neosmatrix, they are Mishimoto radiator hoses for the Max... Theyd be way to small for an intake! If I recall correctly they are 1.4" i.d.. They are similar to the Samco's but probably not quite the quality, but the temp range is PLENTY for my app...
http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/autocat51/
Just shoot them and email. He picks up from Mishimoto like twice a week. Or you can just search eBay for "mishimoto maxima" and youll see them!

And mdliber, your kinda right about the build thread. I probably could have started one but I didnt realize id be putting so much into it! haha! Like the sig says, "its and addiction"... Oh, and youll probably see me posting random pics here in about a month... I should be home around that time and ive still got paid leave coming to me! Stock up on some red bull, and get to installing!

And 540maxima, id just suggest reading from post one of this thread or possibly the stickies... I went through the same thing as you, accept this is my third max and I kinda knew where to head but just wanted more opinions. And now you see where I ended up!

I know right! I got them for one hellova price too! I must have looked for almost 3 months and almost bought 350z seats numerous times! Thank god I waited! I have to get a hold of the seller and tell him to ship them already! He said he'd wait till I was closer to home to ship them! Its almost time!

Best parts about the seats to me; NO RED STITCHING!, adjustable thigh length, double stitch design, power lumbar support, and of course, nobody has them yet!

Ok, well ive got a bit of an update for everybody... Not so much good news as just a lot of headaches!

First things first, im still waiting on the seats to arrive but he called me today to straighten out a shipping address issue! My Stillen lip kit from Showdown came the other day and I unwrapped it today finally! Front lip needs new paint and the rest need some clean up on them! Plus some new epoxy and mounting screws... Also, still waiting on the 00vi and the retrofits to ship! Cant wait for everything to get here!

Now, the sad parts! The car is RUSTY! Like EVERYTHING on the bottom end it just rust! lol!!! Im starting out with a full brake job including brand new rear brake calipers since they were seized... I also have a new Optima coming in tomorrow since my battery keeps craping out on me... Also looking into getting new terminals since they are nice and filthy and corroded! Now about the exhaust... Or better yet the lack there of! The entire thing is rusted from front to rear! The axle back part is completely broken off! The cats and resonators and heat shields are all completely rusted through. Ive got the Greddy SE going on but im going to have to do a lot of work to get the Cattmans on... Ive gotten a quote of about 300 for an install plus 25 per stripped bolt (which will probably be every one)... :/ Id try it my self but drilling out the old bolts is something im not comfortable with... Also, last but certainly not least, the lower radiator support is gone! Bolts are just floating there! So ive got to call either Daveb or Courtesy Parts... Bleh, all that and a lot of junkyard pulls and I think itll be back to tip top shape! Or at least lets hope so! Ill try and get some pictures if I make my way up there again before they set it back on the ground...

Either way, ill give you some progress pics of the new wheels and some interior stuff when I get it back to the driveway!

yeah i know! n it doesn't bother me one bit! A lot of it is surface n will just take a lil elbow grease but the stuff that isnt, I get to replace! So more experience! itll give me a better understanding of my car and allow me to do the things like ES bushings and sway bars and carnal's collars... in the end its just money...

engine runs frigin great! more power than my auto 97 and my manual 96... and i was loosen a bit from that crap exhaust id bet...
