Bring the passenger side down or drivers up. Other than that it looks decent man.

that's a fairly decent output from a halogen projector.

Any shots from the front?

MdX are pretty good projectors. Did you do or did you think about doing the color mod?

Usually means putting washers between the two halves of the projectors IIRC.

Check out HIDplanet for more info.

IIRC you only use two washers on the lower bowl of the projector. It's supposed to slightly change the focal point (or something like that) of the lens and it results in more colour being displayed at the top of the cut off.

But, you loose out on some of the sharpness of the cutoff because the lens is now further away from the bowl of the projector.

Sometimes on color mods I just do one washer instead of 2 that way you get a little of both worlds.

oo that's what it is. ok good we got that cleared up. yeah I was thinking about doing it...but I didn't get a chance experiment with it. I was itching to get this project finished asap. but now that the excitement has settled in I'll probably take everything apart again. as it is I have some fine adjusting to do so I'll probably experiment with the washers. what's the best way to start? just by putting 1 washer on each screw and taking it from there?

I did about a millimeter washer on all 3 mounting screws between the shield and the lens holder.

Play with it. There are a fair amount of adjustments that can be done. Works best if you hack up an old computer power supply, or a spare battery, or one of those jump-starter things so that you can test the adjustments with it off of the car

I'll get these shots tonight. I've been trying to get hold of a good camera that does great night time shots lol.

some more nighttime shots. I know, I know the corner lights are BLUE not WHITE. I had 6000k HIDs in reflectors b4 so I had gotten these to match. I'll get the white ones soon.

Thanks! The Max looks even more amazing after I got it washed 2 days ago. And no, no problems with cops because of blue corner lights.

Not including my pre-existing HID kit, which cost $60, and including shipping, the list goes as follows:

$40......Acura MDX projectors

$16......H11 4300k bulbs

$31......E55 shrouds

$12......Relay harness

$10......misc. items such as lens cleaner, sandpaper, etc.

=$109 total.
