4th gen swirl valves?

Maybe I missed something along the way but I heard a bunch about how people remove swirl valves in 00vi swaps with the 5th gen lowers. Im using a 4th gen lower on my 00VI and noticed my lower has swirl valves...

Should I keep them in there or remove them?

So says the FSM.

Better question (thread jack!) What are the three differences in IM's over the years? Courtesy Nissan has 3 of em listed.... The 95 being the most expensive

search, i cant recall.. i wanna say its pretty straight forward BUT idr what swap it was that required it but you might need to weld some holes for where the swirls rods are.

I remember reading something like that, but wouldnt it be just easier to unscrew the valves and leave the rod in?
