Is it normal to have only the drive side wheel to get most of the brake dust? I'm getting lots of dust on the driver side and almost none on the passenger side.

Check your pads to see if they are wearing evenly from side to side.

yup, thast what i would do. If the pads on the driver side are less than the passenger side, your caliper is prob starting to seize or you need to re-grease then return bolt that moves.

you are unfortunately probably going to have to replace your caliper (i would do both). you an keep your old rotors and pads though so it's not a total loss

they're $50-60 at the local parts store.

before you start freaking out about it, pull the wheels off and actually look at the car.

Is it pulling to one side when you brake?

When you say 'just got my brakes done' do you mean you did them, or you had them done. If some shop, they should have caught the prob. I'd go after them to maybe get cut rate on labour at least.

same thing happened to me after I tried to justify being cheap on front pads and rotors. pass. side smooth, and driver side etched, and tons of brake dust... BTW my calipers were perfectly fine, just got what I paid for.

Gotta completely bleed and change brake fluid, re-surface rotors, and grease the pins. U probably got some goop stuck in ur break lines OR like u said u went and had urs done :/. never trust a under trained "tech" work on breaks. i do all my ownt work, but try to do wht i said and u will have a whole new ride with ur breaks and check ur master!
