Throw out bearing

Sounds silly coming from me but after spending my only afternoon pulling my transmission I need to know if all throwout bearings are the same?? The one that I pulled out was completely messed up and deformed and I didnt know if it had anything to do with the clutch. The clutch that I'm using is an ACT solid disk and HD pressure plate and its transfering power from a supercharged 3.0L at about 13lbs and when it went out the car pulled like no other.. Any positive input is welcome. Thank you.

i would like to know as well. mine just went in my '96 but it looks like it was wearing the hell out of the transmission "collar" or spindle coming out of tranny into bell housing so i am afraid i might need a tranny repair/replacement as well now
