My old Warpspeed y-pipe:

Yours looks a little different. It might be a Budget SS 1.

warpspeed, budget. Cattman same ****. Except Cattman has better welds and better flexes for double the price. Thats it. Budget/LSS has the windtunnel noises, and warpspeed has Beecan. lol.

Why u say that MaxRide? I know u had the hi flow cat and the rest of the exhaust goodies. Hey speakin of which, u ever pass inspection?

I got a bullet straight thru muffler on my car now. I been thinking about gettin a y-pipe, but the setup i got now got the car breathin so right. im afraid that the flow will be too high and lose low end with the y pipe. I wdnt do the cat tho. Inspection a beetch

the exhaust is noisy, and the inspection issues. i'd rather have my max be quiet the way it used to be.

It IS the WS Y because the bracket at the end is included with the WS pipe. Or at least it came with mine, but was not required in install, so it looks more stock.

You guys need to get someone to replicate the original 1st gen equal length Stillen unit.

Funny you guys bring this stuff up, I am need of an exhaust replacement and I want a much nicer sound without the "fart can" import rumble.
The ONE car I saw on youtube with a decent exhaust note had the Stillen cat back set up with the stock header and y-pipe, it sounded terrific.
Problem is...Stillen doesn't make it anymore, just the b pipe section, no muffler which doesn't do me a whole lotta good since the muffler is what makes the exhaust sound right...or not!!

That ypipe is definitely a Warpspeed......Cattman's Ypipe merge with pie cut pipes and much better welds, Warpspeed is of the standard merge design....
