Post pics of your 4th gen with other gen/model OEM Nissan/Infiniti Wheels
so to everyone with these type of wheels. How do they ride? Any problems with putting them on or anything? (if thats a dumb question excuse me im 16 and my max is my first car) and i noticed that on the 350z, this wheel is 18 x 8 and on the 04 , 05 maximas its 18 x 7.5 will that effect anything on which one i choose such as ride?

the width should play no affect unless you are lowered/slammed
if it's regular height, then the only thing to think about is if you get the 350z rims, you will need wider tires, which would result in more contact surface while will result in higher fuel consumption..
The difference also between the 350z rims and the maxima's, the spokes on the 350z are "thinner" thus, more sportier and i think a tad lighter, personally, i would go with the 350z rims.. i was running 18x7.5 rims, no rubbing issues and i was slammed(lowered)..no gap in wheel well..
the offset of the 350z and maxima rims should be the same, so no worries there..
bottom line:
350z rims have thinner spokes, looks sportier and "technically" should be lighter.

Digitized got most of it except for ride quality, and I don't agree w/ him on his MPG assumption (theoretically correct, but I have not seen any mpg reduction in any of my tire setups).
Rims don't really affect the ride... But since you're going up a size you will have to go down a size (sidewall) in tires (if you want to keep speedometer accuracy), which WILL have a direct impact on your ride quality. You're on 16s? So you're prolly ridin around on some 55s right now, when you go 17s you will need 45-50 pending how wide the tires you get, and the aspect ratio (sidewall) will have a change on how your car takes bumps.
But even so, you can ride on 45s like I do and still don't have to have a bone jarring ride, but that's another discussion for another thread.
Of course what I said isn't true for every summer/touring tire, in my experience w/ tires, what I said is usually the norm, there are some exceptions, but this thread ain't a tire discussion now is it?

when I was using my M45 18X7.5 rims with 225/40R18's, i would get approx 500-550km / tank..
now i am using the 16" 97-99 5 spoke SE rims(16x7 i think) with 215/50R16's, my fuel mileage has actually getting better.. i'm able to get approx 50km's more per tank..
go figure
