Your thoughts..

thinkin abt lowering Maxine. i had brand new kyb's on her right now and ive realised there are mixed emotions abt kyb-gr2's.

im lookin for a slight drop..any one have a kyb-gr2 / maxspeed spring set-up?

i had hp blues and maxspeeds and i had no complaints with the ride, never bottomed out, decent drop, decent ride. im hearing illuminas are the way to go if you dont have the $$$ for coilovers.

yes, and they're fine. little over 2 years ago i did the drop and it takes a little getting used to, but the ride is fine as long as everything else is in good shape. ie., lca's, boots, strut tower plates, that little ring gasket that helps the wheels to turn smoothly.

Im thinkin about that same setup too, saw on ebay for 400-500 for the entire setup. I hear coilovers are the best ride tho. TEIN FTW. They expensive as hell tho, 1200 bucks

have that set up now, the ride is fine, didn't lower too much. Does not handle the twisties like a coil over set up does though.
