Gold Intercooler idea....

Ok so i got my New Mishimoto intercooler.... with a core of 26x12x3....
but it only came in black.... so i read into the pros and cons of painting an intercooler.... ok so i choose to do gold ( my car will be painted Gun metal soon) and i think gold and gun metal would look sick (my rims are a bronzey gold).... so i painted only one side of my intercooler gold, and with i didn't like it i could always flip it to the black side....
Here is a photo of my painted intercooler.....

THE INTERCOOLER IS NOT CLOGGED!!!! its just the angle of the photo (Cell Phone Camera)....

and here it is photo shopped on my car( different intercooler in this photo).... with my sterling mist paint...

Black or if your going to repaint a nice gunmetal would flow better.
To me, the gold clashes with the sterling mist.
Gold would look killer with black, green or even a dark maroon.

I think gun metal or silver would look best, like Flava said gold would go well with black or green, I dont think it would flow at all with the Gunmetal paint colour.
Are you trying to make your intercooler very noticable or do you just like the colour?

id say the gold looks awesome! but im with flava. that it clashes with the sterling mist. if you had a darker silver/grey it would look hot with the gold rims. i think you can make it work though. a little more gold accents here n there. you can pull it off! n like you said. if you dont like it! youve always got black!
