Headlight Housing repair? Updated How to!

Anybody have any insight on how to repair/replace the mounting bolts on the headlight housings? They of course snapped off when I removed them to replace the radiator support. Was looking at drilling them out just not too sure if that is gonna work or not. Thanks. Link to pic below.

Is this the left hand drivers side headlight? Ill sell you a Nissan Headlight works fine and everything is intact. I upgraded to clear lenses which I highly regret but will let mine go for a decent offer.

My headlight housing repair (How to)

Well instead of looking for replacements I decided to see what I can do as far as repairing.
First off I started grinding the broken bolts off with the intention of drilling out the old bolts and just replacing them with new bolts. So, while i was grinding i noticed the bolt started moving in the housing. So I grabbed a pair of pliers and pulled it out of the housing.

The heat from the grinder actually loosened the bolts inside the plastic casing thus allowing them to come out with ease. Be sure to take your time, pull them straight out, trying to keep the hole straight.

Went to advance and purchased the products you see below.

I coated the course end of the stud with the GOOP and then screwed it into the plastic casing, using the nut on the fine thread end to tighten into the plastic.
When I inserted the course end into the casing it felt pretty tight, but wanted to use the Goop to ensure it would not come loose.

I am going to let it sit overnight to ensure the adhesive has had adequate time to set up, and then install tomorrow.
Sorry about the links, but for some reason I can not post pics.

I am one of those people that likes to repair rather than replace, if there is a will there is a way...and I will find it!
Will let you guys know how it all turns out tomorrow, should be good to go.

Well I would have to admit to 100% success as far as the repair is concerned! Here is a link to the pic below!

Worked like a charm!

Mine didn't pull out so easy, even after heating them up by cutting the shafts clean. I started drilling them out and they started to turn loose.

The stud kit you suggested fit perfectly, and I agree that the glue was a good idea. For a minute I thought the studs were too long, but I put the nut on and kept turning until they sunk in quite nicely.

Thanks for the great post; it saved me an enormous headache!
