i pull the latch and nothing happens!! this just happened all of a sudden, i can hear the clicking sound but the hood wont open, i pulled off the grill, but what can i do to manually open the hood?

 

TRY PULLING UP OR PUSHING DOWN MAYBE ITS JAMMED? WD40?

 

most likely its jammed, remove the grill push the latch and try to put your hood up. oil up up the latch and everything else when you get it open.

 

If you pulled out your grill, you have to lose out the three bolts for your hood latch and then lift hood. This happened to me recently and I ended up cutting away a section of my grill instead.

 

Chances are that it already unlatched, the spring's just not enough to prop the hood up a bit. You can stick a crowbar or hammer to pry it up a bit. I'm lucky b/c the i30's grille come up too, I can just yank it from the grille.
