Hey

So when I did the 00VI like many others I blocked of the EGR on the upper intake manifold. I also blocked of the rear headers EGR tube. Do all I need to do to reintroduce the EGR is just connect the exhaust tube of the rear headers and have it go back in the intake?

Just trying to get them NOx's levels down for emission...Ohh I don't have the EGR guide tube so it will just be routed into my intake. Which is the same thing...Unless vacuum opens up inside the intake manifold to reroute exhaust at certain engine load/rpm?

Thanks

when you do that swap do you still use the old y pipe or you use the the y pipe that came of that motor

err, well all you change is the top part (UIM) has nothing to do with your exhaust...

No one has ever had there EGR blocked off and then had to reinstall for an Emissions Test? I'm sure my method would work just wanted to be 110% sure as it would just be from the EGR guide tube on the headers to the intake after the throttle body...
