Plenty of people have rolled their "fenders" which for future reference are called "Quarter Panels" using a baseball bat. There's plenty of hot to roll quarter panels on youtube which will show you how to do it. Good luck

I used a sledge hammer and a crow bar on my subaru, but it's just my snow car. I was pretty rough with it and didnt heat the paint and you cant even tell i did anything unless you look on the inside.

I think you can rent the actual tool from like auto zone or a store like that. I think $25-35 per wheel is what I read people were paying to have them done

I'd recommend doing it the right way and renting the Eastwood fender roller from someone and use the heat gun to warm the paint in the area you plan to start at and then slowly you just roll it a little more at time, heating each section as you go.
Works like a charm and will yield professional looking results with no damaged paint and minimal time involved.
