Total Rear Brake Job Needed

Hi Need some advice. My 1999 Maxima needs a total rear brake job. The L caliper seized up and the right one was replaced about 6 years ago but looks like crap. I want to step up the parts. It seems the nissan parts do not last as long. My friend has 2 rear calipers brand new from a 1999 Infinity so was wondering if they would work. They are GOLD color. What parts do I need and if you can recommend pads, rotors also. I did the fronts a few years ago Bremo rotors and Akam pads. seemed to work fine. Thanks great site and love the Maxima. If I do get my friend calipers what extra [arts will I need just do n not want to start job and need a part.

Speaking of parts, I saw a set of Front and Rear pads and drilled and slotted Rotors for $161.25 !! Does anyone have any experience with these parts?

If you bought your caliper last year check to see if has warranty, most parts stores have at least year if not lifetime. For rears, I have a set of monroe pads (often $5 after rebate on amazon) and napa rotors. Cost me less $60 total for pads + rotors.

make sure it's not your e-brake cable that seized.Happened to me also and it was the cable.

I got the cmax brake pad's from auto zone and they work great no noise and no dust
also a good calliper grease is a must , i also bought a can of high temp spray paint to touch up the calliper and those sheilds under the car and you can never do anything on your car without a can of wd40
