Finally... l30 with Greddy SE Catback

Finally I can get my 97-99 Nissan Maxima Greddy SE Catback to be fitted with my RHD l30

fitment issue :

The B pipe Length is shorter than I want, but there is not a big problem, I told the mechanics to make a custom "test" pipe (Our car is not equipped with catalytic converter). And here is the picture of custom "test" pipe :

Completely Fitted :

exhaust clip :

Congrats bud. Looks good.

But you know, exhaust work should be done on a 4 post lift, not a two post.

Where the hell is Jakarta?

Hrmm RHD cars....

Jakarta.... Indonesia? IIRC Indonesia has RHD vehicles.... But drives on the Right side, amirite? (Am I right?)

Also no cats? Do you have a rear 02 sensor after the Y-pipe??

This interest me a lot.....

Thanks bro.

Hmmm... I think so, but there is only 4 lift available @ the workshop and I arrived there by 12:00pm so the 4 post lift already used by another customer

Jakarta is in Indonesia.

Get it bro, you will love how the exhaust looks. I still have no time to make the exhaust clip, but once I made it, I will post it here.

Yes sir... RHD car.

Nope. We drive in the left side on the road sir.

Yes, we have no cats, do rear sensor at all (from header, y pipe, after y pipe).

our government really don't take any point @ car's emission control @ past.

Hrm, I know some more people would love to grab a foreign ECU for their modded cars and who live in emissions regulated areas (like where I live in Houston).

But this is now off topic.

Awesome job on the exhaust! Where are the vids??

off-topic but the Cefiro ECU has the opposite pin type to the maxima - can't recall which way it is but say Maxima ECU pins are male, Cefiro ECU pins are female so you'd have to make new ecu plug or cut and splice

i dont see a resonator? But it didnt sound that loud to me. Not bad.

Im thinkin bout replacing my resonator with an Aftermarket, even tho the stock is not teribibly restrictive anyways.

Ya, the only resonator is that what included from catback.

Hmmm... you can put vibrant resonator. it's a good resonator. it's quite your exhaust a lot without any restrictive design.

oh ya? I just thinking to add a resonator. But I am in 2 choices between vibrant resonator or flowmaster muffler to be used as a resonator.

yo Aack its a celebration lol!!! .

I have only been here a coupla months but im online all day long cuz im at work and this is the only site not blocked so I post alot hehe .

Std aja,

No resonator and uyour car sounds good. I would leave it. Like i sd before, Greddy always a safe bet.

I was thinkin bout a Flowmaster red resonator. I had one before but i didnt notice any gains with it. I also thought it would make the exhaust a lil louder but didnt.

Hmmm Actually what i want is an exhaust without any sound, but i love how the greddy looks + my speed shop tell me to enlarge my exhaust piping before i bring my car for piggyback tuning.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean, how could a resonator will make the exhaust louder? doesn't it calm down you exhaust sound?

nice maxi!! feelin the rims kid!!!!

The exhaust didnt sound bad, not ricer. but yea a tad bit loud. A resonator would quiet things down nicely if u dont already have one.

I thought if i had an aftermarket resonator i wd get more flow thru my muffler and therefore more noise. I was wrong lol hehe

Hahaha... I think the resonator will calm the sound down before the gas flow to your muffler
