Just killed Bambi

What a night, I got a call from my brother at 3:30am saying he has two flats and needs a ride home, so I go pick him up, and on the way splatter a deer on 95 in Ma. This sux, anyone looking for a parts car? Bad: hood, bumper, right fender, front right pass door. I just hit 190k miles too. About the car: 97 SE, Black with black leather, 5 speed MT, Newer tires, spoiler, Bose.

Send me an offer, and normal title I guess. I never went thru insurance so I guess the title would be clean. Correct me if I'm wrong, never done this before.

Yup, title would be clean if you didn't make a claim. I'd pay $200 if the free one i'm supposed to be getting isn't available soon. I just got rid of my last parts car, so my garage is way to clean right now.

Man I had the same thing happen a few years ago. I was driving cross country with a friend and I actually woke up to him cussing because there were 2 deer in the road as he was slamming on the brakes. Anyways he hit 1 deer right on the @$$, but luckily it jumped right before he hit it so it kinda just bounced over the roof. Scary as $ht though because he hit on the right side and I was in the passenger seat!

Anyways so we pulled over to see what damage had happened. Front Bumper was fine (a little hairy), the right side turn signal lights (bottom) had popped out, so I popped them back in, and then the hood was dented some (but not all the way through). I was amazed that was all that happened.

car-part.com In your area a hood is about $100, bumper is about $100, right fender is about $50, front right door is about $100. This is something you could fix on your own in half a day. I just bought a transmission using car part and it ended up being a rebuilt trans. Good luck.

this!

Jack, i dunno why you're so quick to call it a loss, man. a couple hundred dollars will have you back on the road and you'll be good for another 100k miles, . anyway, it's a lot cheaper than buying a new car.

Sorry about the bad news man.

I hit a deer once in my Maxima. Fortunately I had enough time to slow to about 20 mph, and it just knocked the deer over (rolled on the road a few times and took off in to t he woods). Did some damage to the grille and bent the hood a little bit but that was it.
