Technical help on a 99 gle auto to 5 speed swap. Few ?'s.

I have 99 gle automatic I am gettin a complete doner car it's a 97 5 speed gle as well. I like my 99 and wanna make it manual. Wat can I use from the 97 and wat will I need??
Can I use the 97 ecu on my 99 body n motor?
CAn I use the 97 transmission harness an will it plug into my 99 engine/body harness??
Any sensors I must change?
The nuetral position sensor re-wiring?
Is the transmission mount the same ??
And can I make the 97 donor car auto with my 99 parts?

I'm mechanically inclined and really wanna do this can u guys help me out with any suggestions or awnsers. Thank u ahead of time. Give me any info thani can use to my knowdlege

I would just swap the entire engine, transmission, ecu over.

The 99 engine had a ton of emissions crap and I think it had some immobilizer.

Switching to a 97 would be a huge upgrade.

Only problem my 99 engine has 100k n the 97 has 200k miles

Its easier to swap the whole thing then pick part to swap. Just make sure all your seals and gaskets are good and the oil pump.

ya no kidding jesus h christ. switch them both

just the tim and energy of switching two transmissions out is worth a ****load more than the 2nd vehicle youre trying to create. your old *** maxima with an old auto
