Springs installed upside down?

I bought a set of used spring/shock combo and I noticed that it seems like the front springs are installed upside down. H&R and part# is upside down, is it supposed to be like this?

It wouldnt make a difference but usually you would like to have it the other way around. I had my s.techs on upside down and drove it but I turned it around is best to do it.

Are the top and bottom sections symmetrical? If yes, leave it. If no, you know what to do.

Im guessing you have this type if so then it shouldnt really be a problem, but to be on the safe side I would fix them.

With the end coils being different diameters, they better be installed with the large diameter down. There are channels in the spring seats to hold the spring in place so it won't rotate, squeek and wobble.
