If your looking for brand name quality struts, kyb's are what I have. They are great and are around $400 for front and rears. Don't go the cheap route with suspension. You will regret it.

I hope the $350 is your limit on just parts, and not labor. I am not sure what approach to take. The lower level struts (tokico blues) will run you over $300 alone I am pretty sure, so that won't leave much for springs. I'd say buy the springs used since they will be cheaper and I don't think are really considered "wear" parts. Like the other guy said though, don't cheap out or you will likely regret it (or have to replace it again soon). HTH some

I installed tokio blues and lowered the front 1.5" and rear 1" all for less than $400. The blues come with red lowering springs in the HPK245 kit.

Do a search and you'll find all the details. It's been chatted many of times over the last few months.

If you searched this forum you would of found this website:

http://www.erzperformance.com/Nissan...okicohp-43.htm

For a 12 year old vehicle I didn't want to spoil it so I baught that package for $387. They raised it to $444 (free S/H) but if you contact them and tell them you're a member of this forum they may give you a discount.

The blues & lowering springs improved the ride. They were worth the price.

Did that easy search for you

http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...uspension.html

http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...rim-lines.html

Replacing springs & struts for the first time wasn't hard. If you have all the basic tools you'll just need to rent the spring compressor for the front springs & struts.
