Ebay Lip Spoiler

Has anyone bought these lip spoilers before?

I was hoping to get one soon, im torn between getting the unpainted one b.c its already black, and paying some extra to get the painted one and having it painted the 95 black color. (whatever the color code is)

Painted:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Paint...ht_1632wt_1165
Unpainted: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...ht_1632wt_1165

Suggestions/helpful hints?

^ They don't make the LED ones anymore, or at least I haven't seen any. OP, settle for the unpainted one.

Yea, thats Redline, his max is so nice, his is the M3 lip spoiler.

And Chris, why do you say settle for the unpainted? Simply b/c its cheaper and already black?

Yea, i know they paint it to match, but im wondering if the unpainted would match since its already black, if its a little off id be ok, itd accent the car nice.

I think im leaning towards that

Exactly. Plus of you don't like how it looks unpainted, just get a rattle can at your autoparts store and paint it yourself.

easy kid lol it wasnt hard.

I primed it, then spray paint white. Let dry a couple of hrs. Spray white again. Let dry a couple of hrs. Apply clear coat. Let dry overnight.

U shdnt need anyone to help u install. Its 3M tape backed. Jus align it and sitck it down. Thats it.

U dont need clear coat, but the clear helps give a finished look. came out lookin good

The sight that I bought mine from would color match it for no extra charge and make one to the exact length you requested. But that was like 2 years ago. Mine is still on and lookin good!! Debaiting if I should buy another one and carbon fiber wrap it along with my mirrors

Type Maxima M3 Lip Spoiler into ebay and youll find a premade "carbon fiber" one. 49 inches long, exactly the width of our trunk lids

i have ordered this lip spoiler before for a toyota avalon and an audi a6
i ordered both of them painted, and they came in decent quality

just make sure you clean the surface really good before you stick them on
with the 3m adhesive, overall i was very happy with the ebay lip spoiler.

Please tell me you're joking??!! That's total crap nobody will ever buy that cheap look a like cf. I only deal with real cf!! I overlay parts in cf so that probably going to be theonly way you'll ever have a real cf lip spoiler

Maybe I'm nitpicking, but if you're just laying carbon fiber over a plastic or fiberglass spoiler, it still ain't carbon fiber. Why pretend? Ironically, you're just making it heavier. Might as well just go with the one that looks best - the painted one.

Thanks!! But my tires are flush so thanks for playing!!

You guys are right overlaying cf on something will add weight but it's way more pleasing to the eye if it goes along with your car. Besides 3 pounds if that isn't going to noticed at all.
