Does it matter what tranny lines go where? please help!
hey guys i recently got my engine changed and im having multiple problems. Just looked under the car and theirs tranny fluid all over the floor. Now my question is after looking under the hood i can easily pull off one of the tranny fluid lines. The clamp is barely hoding it. So when i drive my car on the highway does pressure build up in the tranny cooling lines where maybe the leak may by coming from the cooling line? im probably going to change both cooling lines when i get home from work. Also this mechanic was not the brightest of the brunch and im thinking he plugged my tranny lined backwards... would this cause damage? if so can someone please tell me which tranny line goes where?? thanks!

alright guys lets saying im standing right in front of my hood facing my car. Theres the upper tranny cooling line, and the lower tranny cooling line. Does the upper tranny line go to the right (my right while im facing the car) of the radiator or the left....

No. If you have some radiator-like cooler installed then some might argue that it makes a difference but if you're talking about the stock one (just a length of metal tubing) then it really doesn't matter at all. Generally such things can be determined by the shape/routing of the hoses. I think you already have your answer, the mechanic forgot to tighten one or both of your clamps.
