Goodbye Maxima!

Well, after 4 years and 2 months I'm getting rid of my Maxima today. It'll be traded in towards a 2002 Dakota Club Cab 4X4. The truck has the 4.7 V-8 with a 5 speed stick. It should be a rocket! I got tired of having a fast 4 door sedan (I had a Taurus SHO before the Maxima) and I needed a change. I know I'll miss the gas mileage and handling of the Maxima, and I'm getting a little old for racing everyone away from stoplights, so the truck will have to do for a while.
This board has been great (I've been on it for 3 years) and if you're interested in the Maxima you must stay on this board.
The best mods that I did to my car (in order of preference):
1. FSTB
2. Redline manual tranny fluid (living in New England with cold winters makes you appreciate being able to shift when you first start the car in the morning!)
3. H&R / Tokico combo
4. Cattman SS Y-pipe

Good luck everyone!

Thanks!

Thanks for the messages of good luck. As far as the R/T goes, they're 2 wheel drive only and you can't get them with a stick (but you can get them with the Club Cab). I live on top of a hill that's a real pain to drive up when they're is snow on the ground so 4WD was a must have.
You wouldn't believe how friggin expensive trucks are! I paid as much for the truck as I would have for a 2K2 Maxima 6-speed (yes, I drove it and it was awesome but it was basically the same 4 door sedan that I've had for the last 8 years.)

Rich, good luck on your new venture with the BIG 4x4 truck! You are right about this board being the best for Maxima infos.

I don't think that I'll be back with a Maxima anytime soon. I'm really bored with the whole fast four-door sedan concept. It's not like it's a Ferrari F1-2001 or anything like that.....
